So it's time for a road trip for meeee...
Backstory: my brother lives in LA...has been there for over a year and a half, and is getting work but barely paying bills, so he's moving back to CT for a couple of months to save up money, then moving back to CA in Dec/Jan.
Last night I booked my flight to CA...am officially leaving late on the 30th, layover in DC, then getting to LAX around 1, and back to my brother's apt at 2am. Going to meet with a client on the 1st (never met her, very excited) then see the sights, do some hiking, etc.
Leaving at the ass-crack of dawn on the 2nd, homeward bound.
